I set my alarm to super early, half eight, so we could try out a new dive site. Since it was extremely difficult to get up that early we ran a bit late. But eventually we arrived at a beautiful beach with big waves. I scorching heat we set up our equipment and got our wetsuits on. A short walk and we were in the water. Now all I had to do was get past the waves. It didn't go that well... The waves kept knocking me over and I was on my back like a beached whale. Very professional! Luckily it was only me and Jon, no customers. When I after a while managed to get out my legs were hurting. We started our dive, but had to cancel it shortly since the visibility was less than a meter due to all the waves and surge.
So back to the beach to pack up. An hour in the car back to the Hilton. We stopped a couple of times on the way so I could take pictures. It's not like we see camels every day! Right? Luckily we were back in time for lunch, so I got some more energy. I meant to use that on pumping Nitrox. Didn't go very well. So I'm back home to gather up some more energy. A bit later I'll go back down to the hotel to plan what I'm saying to the hotel guests on ther welome-meeting tomorrow. It's a great opportunity to inform them about the diving and try to get me some students. But now it's time for a nap.
